The Resale Rights For eBooks 5 Categories

Starting a business by reselling products can be very profitable. The most popular way to do this is by selling through Ebay and takes minimum investment. The Internet has made many people very wealthy and most of which market their business through ebooks. When you get resale rights, you actually receive a license, which allows you to sell products created by others. This way of doing business is very affordable, as it does not require any ebooks to be delivered to the customers place. People with little or no Marketing Experience have made a regular income from doing this although it doesn't make money overnight. Like anything else, the more you put in, the more you are likely to get back. Though the resale business sounds very easy, one has to choose correct resale rights packages. Every merchant has his own rules and regulations with regards to the resale of ebooks. You can choose the resale rights package that will benefit you the most.

Below are the various categories of resale rights and anyone thinking of choosing this method to make money online should become familiar with them first1) Giveaway Ebooks resale rights

However, you may be able to earn a good amount of money from these ebooks to start with. The only downside to this method is you are not permitted to change any of the content.

2) Private Label Resale Rights (My personal favourite)

Private label resale rights prove more beneficial to earn money in the resale business. These rights allow you to brand and edit the content. You have complete authority to handle the ebook your way. You have the choice to choose any method of sale. You get the authority to even sell the rights.

3) Basic Ebook Resale Right

In this type of right, you can only resell the ebooks and keep the entire profit. However, you are not allowed to pass the resale rights to someone else. Your customers can only use the ebook personally and not resale it to someone else. You cannot brand or edit the ebooks in this type of resale rights.

4) Master ebook Resale Rights

In this type of resale right, you can resell the ebook and keep the entire profit as well as pass on the resale rights to the customers. Master ebook resale right leaves you with two categories of customers, one who will buy the ebook from you for personal use and some who will buy to resell it. Master ebook resale rights are a better option to earn more money. You can sell the ebook at a nominal rate to the end user and charge a higher price to the business customer.
However, these rights normally do not allow editing and branding of the ebooks.

5) Ebook branding rights

These types of rights will help the author earn commission once the customer purchases the product by clicking on the link. If the ebook is brandable, you can replace the links with your own links and earn commission or through Google Adsense.

With information being searched on the Worldwide Web at an increasing rate there has never been a better time to profit from it and get your business up and running.

How To Make Money Sharing Free Ebooks

Do you know you can make money simply by sharing a free ebook? Do you know that it does take commitment, time, money and effort to build a business? How do you make money by sharing free ebooks?

To do any business you must understand the process of doing it and more importantly why you want to do it? It is not the how it is always the why? Why do you want to start a business? You must be very clear on your purpose, you must have a compelling reason to do it!

Why would people want to read your free ebook? What is the benefit? How is this free ebook going to help them? What is the title of your free ebook? You've heard it many times, the headline makes a world of difference between success and failure. What if the title of the book is "How To Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy!" Would that title attract attention? How many people do you know want to be happy, healthy and wealthy?Your free ebook must promise great benefits and the rewards must be attractive enough for people to take action and do what you tell them to do. What if the ebook tells them they can make $300 to $1,000 a month simply by sharing the free ebook that they are reading now and there is a great reward of $1,250,000 for them when they really work hard enough for it!

Do you have a sizzling or irresistible offer? Is it simple to do? Is it duplicatable, can your friends do it too? What if the free ebook has a link to your business and everytime someone reads the free ebook and decided to do this simple business, he clicks the link to register and he becomes your business associate and you will earn a part of his business, and wouldn't he be excited if he knows he can do the same thing too? He will have the right to change your link into his link and start the viral marketing process by sharing his free ebook with his loved ones, relatives and friends. It is a brilliant idea, isn't it?

Can you share 100 or 1,000 free ebooks? Of course, you can, there is no limit to how many ebooks you can share and the Law of Averages will never let you down. Out of the 100 ebooks you shared maybe about 10 will take action to do the same and when you have 10 people sending out 100 ebooks, you will have 1,000 free ebooks circulating and this will grow exponentially to 10,000 and 100,000 as people get excited about this simple business opportunity to make money simply by sharing this free ebook!

Can you simply learn and earn $300 to $1,000 a month by sharing this free ebook? Yes, you can, because the business opportunity offered in this free ebook has a very low start-up cost and a very low monthly operating cost: US$30 a month, it is duplicatable!

What must you ask about a business? What is the start up cost? What is the break-even time? and What is the return on investment? Would you be shocked if I tell you it can be as high as 5,000% That means for a monthly investment of US$30, you can get a return of US$1,500 a month! Is it going to happen in a week or a month, of course not! It may take 6 months, 12 months or even 24 months to achieve it. But along the way you may be able to earn a few hundreds a month which is still much more than your monthly operating cost of US$30 a month.

Why viral marketing works and chain letters doesn't? It is the element of trust, belief and commitment. Abraham Lincoln said it so well that you can fool all the people some time but you cannot fool all the people all the time! People are afraid of sending emails to friends offering things that give false promises and exaggerated claims. They know the numbers will not work if people do not do what they are supposed to do. What makes viral marketing effective, is the emotional element when people get excited and tell themselves I must do this and help my friends to benefit from it too!

Will the free ebook add value to people's lives? Is there a system to track it and a support system for those who need help along the way? Is there real value offered? Is the instruction so simple that even a child can do it? If it is a product that people are already sold on it and understand the benefits, you got a winner in your hands!

Can you imagine yourself receiving a free ebook that offers you an opportunity to help others and make money at the same time with little time, cost and effort. You simply invest a little money, send out the free ebooks, as many as you want, preferably 100 ebooks at least and let the Law of Averages take care of it for you. If you can share a free ebook a day, you would have shared 365 free ebooks!

How to Write EBooks and Make a Profit With Them

eBooks are one of the most common and profitable ways to make money online. Basic Search Engine Promotion

I can't tell you how many times people have asked me, "How to do I get my site to come up in the top ten of the search engines so I can get hits and sell my product?"
What they really want to know is, "How can I get people to show up to my website without spending any money on advertising my site!"People usually don't like my answer because accomplishing a "top ten ranking" on any search engine always requires careful thought along with a significant amount of work.

Three types of "Search engines" abound on the Internet. They include true search engines, directories, and links pages. At last count approximately 10,000 sites referred to themselves as search engines, though only about a dozen sites rate your attention since they drive 97% of theInternet's search traffic.

These sites includeGoogle, Yahoo!, Overture, MSN, AltaVista, AllTheWeb, Lycos, DMOZ, and a few others. When a visitor logs onto a search engine looking for information, they enter "keywords" about the subject in hopes of obtaining a list of relevant websites.

Each search engine or directory operates with its own rules about judging a site's relevancy to a keyword search. They look at text on the web page (body text) as well as words you can't see which reside in the actual code of the web pages. This code includes such things as alt tags, title tags, and others. Depending on the search engine, what you can't see may represent a far more important part of ranking well than the words appearing on the page.Search engines look at how many times a keyword shows up in the various parts of your website as well as actual location on the page.

Assuming that an important subject for your pages would appear at the beginning of a page, those web pages startingwith the keyword should rank better than those that don't.Also, in many cases, the more websites linking to your site will drastically impact your rankings.

Entire books and websites exist to teach eager website owners how to pump up their rankings on all the various search engines, however these promotion tips will serve you well in your quest for the "Top Ten!"

** See what others have done for maximum exposure!

Go to the various search engines and perform a search under
which you would like to appear.

Dissect those pages to find
the common elements that make them show up.

~ How often and where do the keywords appear on the page?
~ How many words on the page in total?
~ Do they put keywords in their hypertext links?
~ How many other sites link to them and could you easily get
a link from those sites too?

** Beware of registration vs. promotion

Plenty of companies will "register" your website with
thousands of search engines for about $50-$100.

But simply submitting to the search engines won't do much
for you. Without the proper structure in your website, only
sheer luck will cause your site to pop up in the top ten!

Cool New Search Engine On The Block

If you log on to PayPerClickSearchEngines.com you'll find they list over 600 different pay-per-click search engines operating online.

In fact, some online sources report that over 1,000 "search engines" of various size and popularity operate in the U.S. alone.

With so much competition among sites to capture the search traffic that Google.com and Yahoo.com seem to dominate like 800 lb. Gorillas, why would one new search engine rate even a second glance?

The answer: Amazon, the Web's mega bookstore, launched a new search engine with a very user-friendly interface and some of the fastest, most relevant searches online... along with a **twist** that will help EVERY person who wants to sell ebooks for profit, publish articles to get traffic, or create special reports that go viral.

Here's the story...
Amazon recently launched www.A9.com -- a search engine that creates more of a "portal" experience than the traditional search engine where you input your search terms, click a button, and pray something relevant to your search appears in the results.

When you first log on to A9.com, it looks like a traditional search engine, but once you start searching, you'll find an organized and extremely helpful set of search tools right at your fingertips.

A9.com organizes its search criteria by category on the right side of the page.

Input a search term such as "mortgage loan" or "George Washington" and you'll start to see why I like this search engine so much.

When you first input your search term, the website displays the "web" search results to show you various websites A9.com deems relevant to your search.

Click the "books" button on the right and get a list of the most relevant books available on Amazon.com.

Follow virtually any of those book links to the Amazon website and you can literally browse through the table of contents, first chapter, and even the index of most books.

Click on the "Movies" button and get a list of any relevant movies with your search terms included.

One of the helpful things you'll notice as you start searching different types of media is that you can show or hide various search results on the same page.

So if you only want to search books and movies, you can hide the Web and reference results.

Depending on the type of information you need to research, you can also use the "Reference" results to get dictionary, encyclopedia, and history information on the search terms you entered.

Needless to say, when I did a search for "George Washington," this reference section overflowed with relevant links and information.

However, I was surprised at just how much reference material was available for search terms like "mortgage," including information from Investopedia.com on alternative search terms to help me narrow my search for more relevant information.

Probably the biggest reason I like A9.com so much is that it helps to wade through the ever rising tide of information that threatens to drown us all online.

Depending on what you need to find, you can quickly get suggestions, reference material, physical books, and even information on available film and video without leaving the A9.com website.

Now, here's specifically how A9.com can help anyone who wants to publish their own ebooks, articles, or special reports.

#1 - Insert your main search term at A9.com and look at 2 things: total web results (higher number the better) and the books and movies tabs.

If you see a lot of web results and tons of books and movies on the subject, you have a VERY good (and fast) indication that the topic you're considering is "hot" enough to warrant more investigation for creating your own ebook, special report, or other info-product.

#2 - Follow the look links to specific listings on Amazon. Some of those books will allow you to go through the table of contents, first chapter, and index right there on your screen.

Use this opportunity to:
A. Make notes on the most important points on your topic (from the table of contents) and expand your list of potential points to cover.

B. Get a feel for the general topic and the typical way authors are currently approaching it (first chapter).

** By the way, the table of contents and / or first chapter will usually give you at least one great idea for an article you could create (or pay someone to create) and use to generate traffic to your website.

C. Look for additional keywords you could use for your pay-per-click campaigns as well as your headlines, bullets, and other classified ads (in the index).

#3 - Use the "Reference" tab on A9.com to access the dictionary, thesaurus, and other tools to find MORE keywords you can use to advertise on pay-per-click search engines... specific "niche" keywords many of your competitors probably aren't using.

Though nothing on A9.com is actually new, it does present a much faster and easier way to search the web, compare reults, gather marketing intelligence, and wade through available data to help you with your own ebooks, special reports, article writing, and other marketing activities.

3 Fastest Ways To Get Traffic To Any Website

After all the debate over website design, shopping carts
and credit card processors, every website owner eventually
comes to the startling realization that they need one more
thing to survive - website traffic!

Without website traffic it's the same as building an
expensive billboard and, instead of placing it alongside a
busy highway, hiding it in your *basement* where nobody can
see it.

Upon realizing they need traffic, most website owners run
out and start blowing chunks of money and time trying to
get "hits," but they fail to grasp that there are really
only three (3) reliable ways to get traffic to any website.

Method #1 - Buy Traffic
Currently, the fastest way to get traffic to any website
involves using the little classified ads on the right side
of search giant Google's results pages.

Called Google AdWords, the system allows any advertiser to
open an account with$5 activation fee and start seeing
their ads appear on Google within about 15 minutes.

Advertisers only pay when visitors actually click through
from their ad on Google to their website or affiliate link.

Overture.com also sells traffic by the click, but they make
you wait three to five days to go through their editorial
review process before allowing ads to appear on their
network.

You can also buy advertising on dozens of other pay-per-
click search engines.

They all follow the same basic model of only charging
advertisers for targeted visitors who read an ad based on a
keyword search and decide to click through for more
information.

Log on to www.payperclicksearchengines.com for a list of
over 600 choices ranked by market penetration.

A word to the wise on pay-per-click advertising: Watch your
costs and track and measure everything. Even though you can
get traffic for as little as a penny, you should track your
results by search engine and by individual keyword if you
want maximum success.

Many a company has lost its entire advertising budget
paying only a nickel or a dime per click, but not watching
their conversion rates and pouring money into keywords that
don't convert... while neglecting the keywords that do
bring sales (mainly because they don't know which is
which!).

Method #2 - Borrow Traffic
If you need traffic to a website, then borrow it from
people who already have it... especially people with lists
of loyal subscribers or traffic from search engines,
affiliates, or other steady sources.

"Endorsed Mailings" and "Reciprocal Linking" by other
people represent the two fastest ways to borrow someone
else's traffic.

If they maintain a list of subscribers, convince them to
send an email out to their people telling them why they
should check out your site.

Also, negotiate a prominent link on their web pages to
siphon off targeted visitors who find their website.

Often the best way to persuade someone to do this involves
paying them a commission, agreeing to do a similar mailing,
or providing a link to them on your site (or a combination
of all three).

Imagine how much traffic you could get if someone with a
list of 10,000 loyal subscribers told their people to go
look at your website!

Method #3 Recycle Traffic
The most economical way to get traffic involves turning
one-time visitors into regular, repeat visitors that you
direct to multiple sites over time.

You do this by pulling website visitors into your sphere of
influence by enticing them to sign up for your newsletter,
autoresponder sequence, or "mini-course."

Then you keep in contact with regular articles, special
reports, and recommendations enticing them to visit your
own and other people's websites.

Ultimately, every website owner should orient all of their
marketing efforts towards this end of developing a stream
of recycled traffic, because it costs the least and creates
the best return on time and money invested.

It doesn't matter if you promote your own product, promote
only as an affiliate, or some combination of the two... if
you don't recycle traffic and get more than one hit out of
each visitor, you're making one of the biggest mistakes
anyone can make online.

The Truth About the "True Dracula"

If you didn't know it yet, Dracula once walked the earth, soils of Transylvania to be exact. Long before he became a blood-sucking aristocratic debonair who sucked the blood of just too many young beautiful women in Bram Stoker's "Dracula" and in the many Dracula movies throughout the years; he was a warrior, king and yes, an aristocrat, perhaps a debonair, more importantly Dracula was human.

He never sucked blood like he did in Stoker's novel but whether or not he drank blood remained unanswered. He enjoyed the sight of blood squirting from someone's body that's for sure and his favorite punishment was impalement.

If you are to ask someone from Transylvania, they'd tell you upfront that Dracula was their hero. Dracula was a countrywide recognized national hero of his land who fought against the Turks all throughout his lifetime to protect his people.

The True Dracula was known by many names, he was Vlad Dracula, Vlad Tepes, and Vlad the Impaler. Vlad Dracula was born as the second child of Vlad Dracul in fortress of Sighisoara in Transylvania, late 1431.

Vlad Dacul, his father was a military leader and a member of the Order of the Dragon from where he got his name "Dracul" which meant the "Devil" or "Dragon".

Dracula, getting his name from his father was known as the "son of the devil", a name that he was proud of even when he was a child, for which he was constantly teased by others.

Vlad had the opportunity to taste life's luxuries at a very young age when his father took over the throne of Wallachia in 1436 but just after two years in the throne, Dracul betrayed the Order of the Dragon and formed a faction with the Turks, turning Dracula and his brother Radu to Sultan Murad as collaterals of his loyalty and to prove his assurance that he would never stage a strike against the Turks.

Following Dracul's betrayal of the Order of the Dragon and his faction with the Turks, John Hunyadi who was a close relative planned his assassination which was successfully realized in the winter of 1447.

When their father died, Sultan Murad II granted Dracula and Radu their freedom, Vlad grabbed it while Radu chose to remain.

Right after hearing about the assassination of his father, he was informed about the death of his elder brother Mircea, whose eyes were gouged-out and who was buried alive by the boyars of Tirgoviste. He promised revenge against Hunyadi and the boyars for these deaths though he was only a teenager at the time, and revenge he did!

With the help of Pasha Mustafa, Dracula staged an attack against the boyars for which he succeeded and took over the Throne for which he believed he was the rightful heir.

His rule was cut-short by Hunyadi's appointment of Vladislav II to the Throne but this was not for long...

In order for him to win Hunyadi's trust, he collaborated with the latter then later on tried to convince him that he was the rightful heir to the Throne but Hunyadi was hard to convince. Vlad got his sweet revenge for the death of his father by killing Hunyadi in 1456 and once again regained his Throne.

In 1569, he ordered the arrest of all the boyars, condemning those with good health to slavery, and the impalement of the old and the weak. Vlad's tyranny has begun! 20,000 people were impaled, mothers were forced to eat their own babies, many were skinned to death, hearts were driven out of live bodies, and even children were impaled.

He enjoyed impaling so much that it has become the official punishment of his kingdom. Rumors abound that he drank the blood of those he impaled.

His stature, tyranny and his fascination for blood is what made Bram Stoker name his vampire "Dracula". Though accounts of Jack the Rippers murder contributed to the story, the rest of Bram Stoker's vampire book was mainly Vlad Tepes and Transylvannia.

Not once in his life did Vlad Dracula turned into a bat or ever had a set of vampire teeth but yes, Vlad Dracula was a vampire, a real life vampire of his time. No one in history has ever impaled more people than he ever did.

Cowboy Gun Holster History

The cowboy gun holster has a history dating back to the 18th century. Obviously, an entity recognizable to the cowboy established its quota of technological and slang names to enrich its unique recognition. Similarly, the gun holster was associated with the cowboy.

In earlier days, the gun was an important assortment of the cowboy impression; however, the guns owned by cowboys were not actually carried around for the purpose of killing men always. There were a lot of other uses for guns with cowboys rather than using them for the purposes of killing people.

There were a lot of tight spots concerning the cowboy guns like the gun should never be used against a man who did not have a gun himself to fight against. Since, carrying a gun was a part of the cowboy's need for his life. It became necessary to have a gun holster to hold the gun, therefore the term cowboy gun holster gained slang recognition. A good cowboy gun holster would permit one to take the weapon out of the holster with very less movements.

The old style holster that was in use during the civil war had a small loop that was fixed to the back so that a belt could pass through it; however, with this kind of holster it was difficult to draw the gun out. There were models of holsters that were created with a flap that was buttoned along above the handle of the gun.

The Texas holsters came much later and they were detained pretty firmly versus the side of the person that was carrying the gun. This design permitted the user to take the gun much quickly than in the older models. This particular holster was tied along the leg using a strap or string made of leather. This was done to prevent the gun from slipping when it has been eventually drawn.

There were gun holsters that were open in the bottom in a way to permit a gun with a long barrel to be protruding a few inches. This was actually meant to favor the tilting and firing an "old hip-shooting method" but this is highly impractical and a fabricated story.

The most practical gun holster is the style that was used by officers that were employed to maintain peace. This particular holster was designed in a way to allow the finger to be placed in the trigger and the thumb to reach the hammer and the gun is then tilted a bit ahead and it was possible to take the gun out pretty freely and target it at the prey instantly; the fastest draw from the holster.

Remember, there are a lot of gun free locations where the armed person can be convicted for tress passing with guns. Federal buildings and post offices are strictly off limits for trespassing with guns even if you have a license. The same applies for courts and schools. Before you walk around with your gun with the holster understand what the law states.

History of Las Vegas Part 1: Indians and Mormons

They say that if you don't know your history, then you don't know anything. From humble beginnings as a small settlement to the gambling mecca that it is today, Las Vegas has a fascinating and interesting history. In this first part of a series of articles we look at how Las Vegas has grown from a mere spot in the Nevada desert to the world’s biggest and most famous gambling destination.

Near the end of the last ice age, around 25,000 years ago, the huge valley in which the city of Las Vegas now sits, was mainly underwater. The glaciers in the mountains that surrounded the Las Vegas valley were gradually melting; the run off water feeding a vast lake that was thousands of feet deep and over 20 miles wide. The lakes' outlet was a delta now known as the Las Vegas Wash which in turn ran into the massive Colorado river. For the past few hundred million years the Colorado river had been carving out the Grand Canyon. The Las Vegas strip would eventually be built at a site, which formed the deepest part of that lake.

The earliest settlers on the lake's shoreline were the Paleo-Indians who would hunt for bison and woolly mammoth as far as we can tell this was around 13,000 BC. Little else is known aboutthese prehistoric Las Vegas pioneers but as we near to 3000 BC, a clearer picture emerges of the Strip's early inhabitants.

Around 5000 years ago, the area was inhabited by hunter-gatherers known as Archaic Indians. By then the great lake had dried up and the area was a dessert, however clean water was in abundance due to the many fresh water springs that babbled down to the Las Vegas wash. By around 500 AD the Archaic Indians, despite their name became an organised community living in pit houses, making pottery and cultivating crops. They disappeared from the area around the year 1150 AD. Maybe due to drought, disease or war. No one really knows why.

The next recorded Las Vegas inhabitants were another tribe of Indian, the Southern Paiutes, nomadic hunter gatherers who lived in tepees. The Paiutes remained undisturbed for over 700 years when they greeted the very first white men to the area in the form of Mexican traders. In 1830 Antonio Armijo set out from Santa Fe to trade goods along the Old Spanish Trail between monasteries set up by Franciscan friars, where he found a short cut. By following a large spring he became the very first non-native American to step foot in the valley. He named the Area Las Vegas, or 'the Meadows'.

By 1845 the Old Spanish Trail had become the most travelled route in the Southwest with the valley becoming a popular camping spot due to the fresh running water. Latter Day Saints, who had settled on the shores of the Great Salt Lake a few hundred miles away often passed through the area. By the 1850’s Mormon pioneers as well as wagon trains and mail carriers stopped in the valley so regularly that the Mormon Church elders decided to colonise the area.

A party of Mormon missionaries left Salt Lake City in 1855 to establish a community at Las Vegas to service the various travellers that passed through the area (and hopefully save a few souls along the way). The missionaries built a fort, dug irrigation ditches, cultivated crops and befriended the local Indians. However, the extreme elements of the dessert overwhelmed them and their crops failed. The missionaries tried to hang in and save their mission until deposits of lead were found nearby. The discovery attracted miners from all over the Southwest stretching the mission’s resources to breaking point and the missionaries retreated back to Salt Lake City. And so another episode closed.

Keep an eye out for the next installment of this series which will focus on life blood of Las Vegas, the Hoover dam.

John F Kennedy Biography

He barely won election in 1960, but within two years John F. Kennedy was one of the most popular Presidents ever, and widely expected to win an easy re-election in 1964, only to have his first term end tragically in America's only modern Presidential assassination.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts, the second son of Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr. and Rose Fitzgerald. After spending his early years in both public and private schools, and suffering a number of health ills, Kennedy graduated cum laude from Harvard. His senior thesis became the best-selling Why England Slept (1940). His later book, Profiles in Courage (1956), won the Pulitzer Prize.

In 1941 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and after Pearl Harbor, was given command of a PT boat and assigned to the South Pacific, where he was wounded when his ship was struck by a Japanese destroyer. Kennedy was honorably discharged in 1945, just months before the Japanese surrendered. While serving, he received the Navy and Marine Corps Medal, the Purple Heart, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. After returning to the states, Kennedy was elected as a Democrat to the U.S. House of Representatives (1947 - 53) and the U.S. Senate (1953 - 61). His 1956 bid for the Democratic vice-presidential nomination was unsuccessful, but in 1960 he became the youngest man, and first Roman Catholic, to be elected U.S. president. While in office, Kennedy launched programs that supported sustained expansion, called for new civil rights legislation, actively supported desegregation and supported the arts. In 1962, he narrowly averted a nuclear war (the Cuban Missile Crisis), but in 1963 he secured a nuclear test ban treaty with the USSR. Kennedy also established the Peace Corps to aid developing nations and jump-started the U.S. space program.

Kennedy's administration is often referred to as Camelot, due to the vitality he and his wife, Jacqueline Bouvier, brought to the White House. During his time in office, the White House seemed more youthful and energetic, thanks in large part to the young ages of the President and First Lady and the presence of their young children, Caroline and John. Kennedy even established a preschool, tree house and swimming pool on the White House grounds. The president became closely associated with popular culture, but behind the glamour, the Kennedy's suffered many tragedies, including a miscarriage, a stillbirth and the death of a newborn son.

Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 while on a political trip in Dallas, Texas. He was struck by two bullets. Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested after the assassination and charged with Kennedy's murder. He denied any part in the assassination, claiming he was set up. Oswald was shot and killed two days later by Jack Ruby in a Dallas police station. Five days after Oswald was killed, President Lyndon B. Johnson created the Warren Commission to investigate the assassination. It concluded that Oswald was the lone assassin, but to this day, conspiracy theories still abound.

Born: May 29, 1917

Died: November 22, 1963

Famous For: 35th President of the United States; first Boy Scout to become President.

Key Accomplishments: Graduated cum laude from Harvard; won a Pulitzer Prize for his book, Profiles in Courage; created Peace Corps.

Significant Quote: "And so my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." (from Kennedy's inaugural address, January 20, 1961)

Fun Quote: "Forgive your enemies but never forget their names."

Use eBooks And Articles To Build Your List

Getting customers to your site should always be ay the top of your thoughts. It is as important as the quality and the excellence of the product and the services you provide. It should go hand in hand in providing your customers the satisfaction they get in exchange for the money they have paid for your product or service.

One of the ways you can combine marketing and customer service is through opt-in marketing. With an opt-in list you get the opportunity to introduce your site and products on a good time basis. Opt-in marketing is a marketing strategy that is virtually low cost and not time consuming. You get the consent of your website visitors to subscribe to your newsletters and other promotional materials by offering them a free eBook in return for there email address and name.

Opt-in marketing uses your list of subscribers to send e-mail to. These e-mails will contain the materials you will send to your subscribers. It is essential that you present your promotional items in a manner that will catch the interest and the eye of your subscribers to keep them wanting for more. The best way to do this is to provide fun, entertaining and informational eBooks and articles.

Well written eBooks and articles full of content and useful information will help in building your list as more subscribers will be enticed to your list. When they have read the samples of your contents of your sites in the eBooks and articles, they will be intrigued as to what will come next. Subscribing to your newsletter will offer them a glimpse of what you have to offer next.

Many sites and companies have realised the importance of eBooks and articles and this also aids in search engine optimization and ranking . As more people are heading towards the internet for their information needs, serving the right information to them via eBooks and articles from and in your site will increase the flow of your website traffic. With more traffic, the percentage of your sales will grow. More sales turn into more profit.

There has been the rise for the need of well written, information rich and keyword packed articles for the content of websites as well as for newsletters and eBooks. These articles provide the information many are seeking in the internet. If your site has them, more people will be coming to and returning to your site for information and research.

Well written and up to date articles and ebooks will also boost your sites reputation if they are filled with good information you will be regarded as well informed and an expert on the subjects that you tackle. Your articles used on your website or in your eBooks must be well researched so that the people will trust you. When you have gained their trust, they will always come for you for their needs on that subject.

In conculsion, you must write articles - or have them written - to tackle subjects that are closely connected with your product and type of business. If you have a site for a medicine treating a certain disease, your articles must be about the disease. Or if you sell materials for home improvement provide articles which cover home improvements. Most articles searched for are tips, guidelines, methods, manuals and such, these are great to compile into an eBook and used as a give away or put on an auto-responder and emailed out say once a week. If you provide these articles to your customers and you have their trust, they will always go to your site for help and advice as well as for your products.

With the loyalty of these customers, they may subscribe to your opt-in list to receive all the information you have. If you provide them with the answers for that need, they will be happy to be receiving your newsletters as well as other promotional materials to keep them well informed. Others may even forward your newsletters or eBooks to other people when they find a certain article of interest.

You should provide links in your newsletter, articles or eBooks -where you can - so that when other people are reading it and wants to read more, they may click on the link and go to your site. With the articles you have in your site that are good, they may decide to sign up as well for your opt-in list. This will build your list and make it bigger.

Make sure to keep your subscribers happy and interested in your newsletters and promotional materials. Keep on posting and writing good articles for your site and newsletter. If you are not interested in writing them or if you just don't have the time, there are many available well experienced and knowledgeable writers willing to help you out. This is an investment that will pay for itself.

Free E-Book Marketing: Destroying The Myths

Before you read this, understand right now: Free E-Book
Marketing WORKS! It has been proven to be one of the
*most powerful* forms of online marketing ever offered. But
with the knowledge of its existence, and nothing but a
notion of the idea, many who have attempted to utilize its
power have failed. Why? The lack of understanding!

Free E-Book Marketing has been in use for over SIX YEARS.
Successfully utilized by many "high-class" marketers. These
few have been actively creating and promoting Free
E-Books since the ability was provided.

Then, about the three-fourths of the way through 1999,
the news broke of this powerful "new" marketing form and
everyone and their brother were trying to "cash-in" on the
opportunities they were hearing about.

Buying up the e-publishing software stock, many
misunderstanding marketers began creating and compiling
everything they could get their hands on.

Throwing these so called worth while Free E-Books into the
world of the Web, they were actually doing more harm than
good. Little did ( or do ) they realize the necessary steps
that need to be taken in order to ensure their success ...
that of quality, unique and beneficial content.

Let me ask you, "How many Free E-Books have you
downloaded due to its sizzling title, only to find nothing but
an over used report with a million and one banner ads
flashing in your face?"

Too many to count?

There in lies the problem. How many "bad" Free E-Books
does it take before you stop downloading Free E-Books all
together? Do you know what that does, not only for the
author of the Free E-Book, but other, successful Free
E-Book Marketers?

Too say the least, its not good.

So what DOES make a good Free E-Book? What makes a
Free E-Book successful in the sense that it does what it is
meant to do? It's rather simple, and if you're at all
interested in this "old" form of marketing, than here are the
TWO MOST IMPORTANT aspects you need to realize: ONE:

Your E-Book must be focused. It should only present a
single offer to its readers. It should not stray or attempt to
teach everything about anything. It should be centered
around one solid idea: To present your ( business )
knowledge as to establish yourself as an expert in your
field. To show and help the reader realize that you are a
credible source of information.

After reading your Free E-Book, your reader should have a
firm grasp of the concepts you present. They should be
able to follow through and succeed with the resources you
provide. This will help the passing of your Free E-Book as
well as strengthen your chances for future dealings with its
readers. ( This is what makes you money, not the banner
ads. )

TWO:

Your E-Book must be educational. If you decide to utilize
Free E-Book Marketing, than understand this: Your Free
E-Book is to be created to generate leads. How do you
generate leads? You educate your prospects about what
you have to offer. You show them the hows, whats and
whys of how your offer works and will work to benefit them
to act upon.

You must teach the reader all that you successfully can
about what the contents of your Free E-Book will do for
them. Before they will hand you their money to enhance
their lives, they need to know WHY what you're offering will
work for them.

By demonstrating, thus educating through the use of your
Free E-Book, your reader will naturally gravitate towards
you for "further" information, where in you may charge for
admission, thus making you your profits.

Free E-Book Marketing is simply a matter of understanding
how the marketing and psychological strategies of it work.
Understanding the above is *by far* the most important
aspects of Free E-Book Marketing you need to realize.

If what I have just shown you is not followed, you will only
work to hurt yourself. People want quality, informative
content ... and you want their money. By giving them what
they want, then suggesting they come to you for more,
you will work to help each other.

Free E-Book Marketing WORKS! But ONLY if you use it right.

19 Ways to Secure Non-Returnable Book Sales

Surprisingly, book stores are not always your greatest source of book sales. Most authors and publishers do want their books to be available in all of the book stores, and rightly so. You want your book to be there, too. You want your book to be a “household name” – a topic of conversation in coffee rooms and at dinner tables everywhere. Your publicity campaign is designed to create interest in your book, and to drive buyers to the book store market.

Unfortunately, those traditional book store sales aren’t always “sold”. The books might be returned over and over again. That’s the sad reality of the book retail industry.

Your book’s fame, however, can help you to acquire nonreturnable sales in the nontraditional market where a sale actually is a sale – where sales of 25,000 copies and more are not uncommon.
Here are 19 strategies that will help you acquire those sales:
1. Write your book for a very broad market – nonfiction works best.

2. Write a book that people will be happy to give as a gift.

3. Add as many photos and illustrations as you can afford.

4. Keep the topic light – avoid heavy social commentaries, controversial topics, scientific theories and other “heavy” subjects.

5. Have your book professionally designed.

6. Have your book professionally edited.

7. Give your book a catchy name – avoid boring titles such as How to Have a Happy, Fulfilling Life.

8. Make sure that the cover design is appealing, appears three dimensional and can compete with all of the major publishing houses. Hire a professional designer.

9. Sell the benefits of your book on the back cover. That is where you will sell buyers on the reasons why they just can’t live without your book.

10. Price the book competitively in your genre.

11. Make your book look like it is good value for the price – it’s all about perceived value in the minds of the buyers.

12. Don’t write for yourself – write for the end buyer. Fulfill a need for them or make them feel better.

13. Think of the corporate market when you are writing. Make a list of corporations that can benefit from your book, and then contact them.

14. Submit your book to the book clubs at least six months before you publish.

15. Find an agent who sells to the gift market.

16. Find an agent who sells foreign rights.

17. Find an agent who sells to the display market.

18. Don’t be afraid to offer large discounts on nonreturnable sales.

19. Seek licensing agreements – they are a great source of income for no work on your part.

A professionally designed book opens many doors while an amateurish appearance closes many doors. It is vitally important that you invest in your book at the beginning to create sales in the long term. Plan for publicity and marketing before you print your books – printing is not the final expense in your marketing plan. It is the beginning. You can have the best book in the world, but if no one knows about it, no one will buy it.

Create a book that buyers just can’t resist.

5 Reasons Why You Can't Create Your Own eProducts

What is there that prevents you from creating and marketing
your own exclusive information eproducts?

Chances are, it could be one or more of the self-defeating
reasons that we commonly hear from those who contact us
seeking advice. Several of those reasons are addressed
here. We intend to debunk the validity of each and every
one.

Reason #1 - I Can't.

Can't isn't even a word! It's a contraction of the words
can not. Those are the two most self-defeating words in the
English language, or any other language that they may be
translated to.

Think of it this way. In the first stages of all our lives,
we really could NOT do much of anything. Mother or Dad, or
someone else, had to do everything for us. But all of us,
as we grew, LEARNED to DO things for ourselves.

Our human ability to learn is what sets us apart from the
beasts of the field and forest. Take advantage of that
miraculous gift. After all, do you think that the world's
most successful people were born knowing everything they
know today? Of course not!

Reason #2 - I Don't Have a Good Idea For an eProduct. As the Internet itself is in a constant state of flux and
metamorphosis, so do new problems and new needs arise
constantly. Therein lies a hotbed of potential for new
solutions and new information to be disseminated.

Consider your own needs and problems as an Internet user.
Believe it or not, there are untold numbers of other people
worldwide who are experiencing the same situations. I
behooves you to do some research, find solutions to your
own problems, and then help others to fulfill those needs.

Now, think about what specialized knowledge you already
have. Practically everyone has experience and insight that
others will happily pay for. Natural human curiosity
motivates us all to want to know what others know, and the
range of topics is limitless. What you know IS worth money
to many other people.

Reason #3 - I'm Not a Good Writer.

Have you ever written a letter to a friend? Do you
communicate with others through email? Then you CAN write.
Whether or not you think you are 'good' is not an issue
here. After all, we're talking about creating an
information product, not winning a Pulitzer Prize.

Begin with an outline or framework of the major points you
want to convey. Next, add sub-topics as needed to elaborate
your point. Then, begin 'filling in the blanks' with the
information and knowledge that you have on each point. Even
the great novelist James A. Michener used this mechanical
approach.

Even the best writers in any venue compose their works in
rough draft. Editing, punctuation, and grammar correction
comes later, and is typically relegated to someone else who
has an eye for such work.

Final editing can be easily accomplished by contacting the
English department of a local high school or college. You
may also do an online search for the keywords 'editing
services' or 'ghost writing' to get professional assistance.

Reason #4 - I Don't Know How To Compile The Product.

eBook compiler softwares are readily available for as
little as $20 US, and since their advent a few years ago,
they have come a long way toward being user friendly.
Besides, this is actually the most simple of all the steps
in generating your own eproduct. Using a good software like
eBook Edit Pro, you can have a ready to market product in
as little as 30 minutes.

If you prefer to seek professional help at this stage, do
an online search for the keywords 'ebook compiling
services.' You will be presented with several options to
investigate.

Reason #5 - I Don't Know Where or How To Sell The Product.

This is not a valid reason either. The Internet itself is
an information driven medium. Most Internet users come
online seeking one thing only . . . information. Your job
will be to present your product in the right places when
those people come looking for the information.

Untold numbers of volumes are available on the Net that
deal with the topic of ebook marketing. We're happy to
offer, with our compliments, three concise guides that will
help you on the way to successfully marketing your own
eproducts. Send a blank email to our autoresponder for the
download links.

mailto:selfpublish@listwarrior.com

So you see, there is actually nothing standing in the way
of you creating and marketing your own eproducts, except
your own fears, or your own failure to recognize your own
natural abilities. Begin right now by saying 'I CAN.'

Jimi Hendrix Biography and Top 10 Songs

I have listened to Jimi Hendrix since I can remember and he was probably the first person I ever wanted to be when I was a kid. I love the guitar but I can play it about as much as I can walk on the moon. When I was much younger I attempted to take guitar lessons, but I didn't have my own guitar and had to use my dads.

The problem with that is, I'm left handed and my dad right handed and so we had to keep switching the strings about which my dad moaned at. There was no way I could play the guitar left handed like Jimi so I eventually gave up and decided to appreciate the guitar skills in others and focus my energy on other things.

Jimi was born on November 27th 1942 in Seattle, Washington and is remembered as one of the greatest guitarists of all time (the greatest to me). Jimi first became famous within the USA (his home country) and ended his career in London, England. Jimi made success in the US when he performed at the Monteray Pop Festival in 1967, he later headlined at the Woodstock Festival in 1969. Jimi had many influences to his music, including Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Curtis Mayfield and even Pete Townshend (The Who) and was also influenced by his Native American heritage.Over the years Jimi helped to revolutionize music by developing several guitar techniques (using overdriven amplifiers to produce guitar feedback), and was one of the first performers to use stereophonic and phasing effects in the recording studio. Jimi is also well known for his flamboyant dress sense and stage performances.

Jimi was found dead in the basement flat of the Samarkand Hotel in London (I went to see for myself on a visit) and the cause of death was said to be he had died by drowning on his own vomit after drinking red wine and taking several sleeping pills. The circumstances leading upto Jimi's death still remain somewhat a mystery and the details vary from report to report.

Jimi was inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame in 1992 and holds many other achievements such as Melody Maker' pop musician of the year 1967 and 1968, Rolling Stone Magazines number 1 of their 100 Greatest Guitarists Of All Time, and also has his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Jimi released several studio albums (some notable ones being Are You Experienced, Axis: Bold as Love, Rainbow Bridge and Electric Ladyland) and has also released several live albums (Band Of Gypsys, Isle of Wight, and Bleeding Heart to name a few). Some of Jimi's most popular singles were: Hey Joe, Stone Free, Purple Haze, All Along the Watchtower, Foxy Lady, Voodoo Child and Little Wing.

There have been many artists and bands who have covered Jimi's songs over the years (The Cure - Purple Haze, Stone Free - Eric Clapton, Bold As Love - The Pretenders) and there have been also several tribute albums released in his honor.

Kurt Cobain

Is it possible that somebody life’s would change music? Kurt Donald Cobain was the leader of one of the most important bands of Grunge, Nirvana. He was born on February 20,1967 in a small town close to Seattle. He lived with his mother, a cocktail waitress, and his father, a mechanic. Later, he moved to a depressing logging town. Cobain was considered during most of his childhood a sickly bronchi tic child. Situation worsened when his parents divorced when he was seven. He said that he would never feel love again and security.

Cobain began changing through time, life became more difficult for him. He became more antisocial, but he continued to follow his dream of having a band and being successful. He formed a series of bands before Nirvana came to be in 1986. Nirvana was a very simple alliance between Cobain, Krist Novoselic, bass player, and Dave Grohl. By 1988, Nirvana began making shows and completed their demo tapes. In 1989, they recorded their first album, Bleach, considered on of the best Grunge hits at that time.

“Smells like Teen Spirit” became Nirvana’s most highly acclaimed and instantly recognized song. However, Cobain felt always worried thinking that maybe his music was attracting the wrong kind of fans, the kids that always beat him up in high school. In February of 1992, Cobain went to Hawaii to marry Courtney Love. In that same year he released Insecticide another record of him. In early 1993 In Utero was released into the top spot on the music charts.

Cobain felt into heroin in the early 90`s; he said he used it as a shield against the rigorous demands of touring and to stop the pain of stomach ulcers. In August, Cobain had hospital treatment for heroin abuse. Shortly after Bean Cobain was born. Again on March 4, he was sent into a rush to a hospital in coma after an unsuccessful suicide when he took about fifty painkillers with champagne.

Cobain was a gun fanatic and always had sever5al in his possession. Some days later on the April 5, he barricaded himself into the granny flat behind his mansion, put a shotgun on his mouth and pull the trigger. Cobain`s body was found when an electricitian visiting the house to install a security system went round the back of the house. He though he saw a mannequin on the floor until he noticed a splotch of blood by Cobain`s ear. When the police break down the door, they found Cobain dead on the floor, a shotgun still pointed at his chin, and nearby a suicide note written in red ink addressed to his wife and his daughter Frances Bean. He became not only for me but also for the whole world one of the best singers and the leader of a new genre, Grunge.

Great Books for your Toddler: 5 Must-Reads

With so many new books out there, it is hard to decide which books are really worth the investment. Below you will find 5 must-reads, which will provide excellent toddler reading! Pick up a copy at the library and if your toddler loves it (and I’m sure they will), buy a copy. These books make a great foundation for your book collection!

Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown, Illustrated by Clement Hurd

The rhythm and rhyme of this story will really appeal to two-year-olds. Don’t be surprised if you read this one over and over before bed. Infact, the more you read it, the better! It will be the “get ready for bed” book, and this consistency is great for your toddler. Although saying goodnight to everything in the room may seem boring to the average adult reader, your toddler will delight in the simplistic message and pictures.

Jamberry by Bruce Degen

This book is, admittedly, my favorite picture book. The pictures and imagery are simply phenomenal. I walk away singing the words to this book every time after reading it. It is a super book, and will pull your toddler into a world of bountiful berry bliss! Read this book with them today!

Everyone Poops by Taro Gomi, Illustrated Amanda Mayer Stinchecum

Perfect for those toddlers, this book will amuse and delight them every time. It’s funny and it’s true. “Everyone Poops” is a great opportunity to bring potty-training issues to face, and learn a thing or two about animals.

Brown Bear, Brown Bear by Eric Carle

This is a great book to get your toddler reading! The repetition is a sure-fire way to get them reading along with you. They will learn the text, and say it along with you, or even by themselves. Then, pour on the praise! Kids will love this book if it makes them feel like they can read. Not to mention, the pictures are super fun; kids love Eric Carle books!

Are you My Mother? By P.D. Eastman

This one is a little long, but it’s worth the time. The story has a great theme, and the concept is interesting for toddlers. Pick up a copy and read it with your toddler; they will find the search for the “real mother” relatable and interesting. The simplistic pictures, and simplistic language makes it a sweet but ‘serious’ read!

I hope you will check into these great books for toddlers. They have provided me with many great reading memories, and I know they will provide you with the same!
